And they found therein a wall upon the point of falling into ruin, and he repaired it. (Moses) said: If thou hadst wished, thou couldst have taken payment for it.

(46) Then he came forth unto his people from the sanctuary, and signified to them: Glorify your Lord at break of day and fall of night.

(47) And shake the trunk of the palm-tree toward thee, thou wilt cause ripe dates to fall upon thee.

(48) Whereby almost the heavens are torn, and the earth is split asunder and the mountains fall in ruins,

(49) And when We said unto the angels: fall prostrate before Adam, they fell prostrate (all) save Iblis; he refused.

(50) And among mankind is he who worshippeth Allah upon a narrow marge so that if good befalleth him he is content therewith, but if a trial befalleth him, he falleth away utterly. He loseth both the world and the Hereafter. That is the sheer loss.
