(21) And indeed We bestowed grace on Dawud (David) from Us (saying): "O you mountains. glorify (Allah) with him! And you birds (also)! And We made the iron soft for him."
(22) Had he not been of them who glorify Allah,
(23) And verily, we (angels), indeed are those who glorify (Allah's Praises i.e. perform prayers).
(24) Verily, We made the mountains to glorify Our Praises with him [Dawud (David)] in the 'Ashi (i.e. after the mid-day till sunset) and Ishraq (i.e. after the sunrise till mid-day).
(25) And you will see the angels surrounding the Throne (of Allah) from all round, glorifying the praises of their Lord (Allah). And they (all the creatures) will be judged with truth. And it will be said, "All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists)."
(26) Those (angels) who bear the Throne (of Allah) and those around it glorify the praises of their Lord, and believe in Him, and ask forgiveness for those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah) (saying): "Our Lord! You comprehend all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who repent and follow Your Way, and save them from the torment of the blazing Fire!
(27) So be patient (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم). Verily, the Promise of Allah is true, and ask forgiveness for your fault and glorify the praises of your Lord in the 'Ashi (i.e. the time period after the midnoon till sunset) and in the Ibkar (i.e. the time period from early morning or sunrise till before midnoon) [it is said that, that means the five compulsory congregational Salat (prayers) or the 'Asr and Fajr prayers].
(28) But if they are too proud (to do so), then there are those who are with your Lord (angels) glorify Him night and day, and never are they tired.
(29) Nearly the heavens might be rent asunder from above them (by His Majesty): and the angels glorify the praises of their Lord, and ask for forgiveness for those on the earth. Verily, Allah is the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.
(30) In order that you (O mankind) may believe in Allah and His Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم), and that you assist and honour him (صلى الله عليه وسلم), and (that you) glorify (Allah's) praises morning and afternoon.
