(382) "O our Lord! I have made some of my offspring to dwell in a valley without cultivation, by Thy Sacred House; in order, O our Lord, that they may establish regular Prayer: so fill the hearts of some among men with love towards them, and feed them with fruits: so that they may give thanks.

(383) We send not the angels down except for just cause: if they came (to the ungodly), behold! no respite would they have!

(384) We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption).

(385) That they should not believe in the (Message); but the ways of the ancients have passed away.

(386) They would only say: "Our eyes have been intoxicated: Nay, we have been bewitched by sorcery."

(387) It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders;

(388) And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil:

(389) And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance.

(390) And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible.
