(23) So when the promise for the first of the two came, We sent over you Our servants, of mighty prowess, so they went to and fro among the houses, and it was a promise to be accomplished.

(24) Or you should have a house of gold, or you should ascend into heaven, and we will not believe in your ascending until you bring down to us a book which we may read. Say: Glory be to my Lord; am I aught but a mortal apostle?

(25) And when We assigned to Ibrahim the place of the house, saying: Do not associate with Me aught, and purify My house for those who make the circuit and stand to pray and bow and prostrate themselves.

(26) Then let them accomplish their needful acts of shaving and cleansing, and let them fulfil their vows and let them go round the Ancient house.

(27) You have advantages in them till a fixed time, then their place of sacrifice is the Ancient house.

(28) O you who believe! Do not enter houses other than your own houses until you have asked permission and saluted their inmates; this is better for you, that you may be mindful.

(29) It is no sin in you that you enter uninhabited houses wherein you have your necessaries; and Allah knows what you do openly and what you hide.

(30) In houses which Allah has permitted to be exalted and that His name may be remembered in them; there glorify Him therein in the mornings and the evenings,
