(62) And there came a man, running, from the furthest end of the City. He said: "O Moses! the Chiefs are taking counsel together about thee, to slay thee: so get thee away, for I do give thee sincere advice."

(63) He said: "O my Lord! I have slain a man among them, and I fear lest they slay me.

(64) Pharaoh said: "O Chiefs! no god do I know for you but myself: therefore, O Haman! light me a (kiln to bake bricks) out of clay, and build me a lofty palace, that I may mount up to the god of Moses: but as far as I am concerned, I think (Moses) is a liar!"

(65) So naught was the answer of (Abraham's) people except that they said: "Slay him or burn him." But Allah did save him from the Fire. Verily in this are Signs for people who believe.

(66) But they rejected him: Then the mighty Blast seized them, and they lay prostrate in their homes by the morning.

(67) What is the life of this world but amusement and play? but verily the Home in the Hereafter,- that is life indeed, if they but knew.

(68) That which ye lay out for increase through the property of (other) people, will have no increase with Allah: but that which ye lay out for charity, seeking the Countenance of Allah, (will increase): it is these who will get a recompense multiplied.

(69) He Who has made everything which He has created most good: He began the creation of man with (nothing more than) clay,

(70) And if an entry had been effected to them from the sides of the (city), and they had been incited to sedition, they would certainly have brought it to pass, with none but a brief delay!
