(61) Whether We shall show thee (within thy life-time) part of what we promised them or take to ourselves thy soul (before it is all accomplished),- thy duty is to make (the Message) reach them: it is our part to call them to account.

(62) Those who love the life of this world more than the Hereafter, who hinder (men) from the Path of Allah and seek therein something crooked: they are astray by a long distance.

(63) Leave them alone, to enjoy (the good things of this life) and to please themselves: let (false) hope amuse them: soon will knowledge (undeceive them).

(64) And verily, it is We Who give life, and Who give death: it is We Who remain inheritors (after all else passes away).

(65) Verily, by thy life (O Prophet), in their wild intoxication, they wander in distraction, to and fro.

(66) (They are things) dead, lifeless: nor do they know when they will be raised up.

(67) And Allah sends down rain from the skies, and gives therewith life to the earth after its death: verily in this is a Sign for those who listen.

(68) Whoever works righteousness, man or woman, and has Faith, verily, to him will We give a new life, a life that is good and pure and We will bestow on such their reward according to the best of their actions.

(69) This because they love the life of this world better than the Hereafter: and Allah will not guide those who reject Faith.

(70) When We decide to destroy a population, We (first) send a definite order to those among them who are given the good things of this life and yet transgress; so that the word is proved true against them: then (it is) We destroy them utterly.
