(113) O my people! this life of the world is only a (passing) enjoyment, and surely the hereafter is the abode to settle;

(115) He it is Who created you from dust, then from a small lifegerm, then from a clot, then He brings you forth as a child, then that you may attain your maturity, then that you may be old-- and of you there are some who are caused to die before-- and that you may reach an appointed term, and that you may understand.

(116) He it is Who gives life and brings death, so when He decrees an affair, He only says to it: Be, and it is.

(117) So We sent on them a furious wind in unlucky days, that We may make them taste the chastisement of abasement in this world's life; and certainly the chastisement of the hereafter is much more abasing, and they shall not be helped.

(118) We are your guardians in this world's life and in the hereafter, and you shall have therein what your souls desire and you shall have therein what you ask for:

(119) And among His signs is this, that you see the earth still, but when We send down on it the water, it stirs and swells: most surely He Who gives it life is the Giver of life to the dead; surely He has power over all things.

(120) Or have they taken guardians besides Him? But Allah is the Guardian, and He gives life to the dead, and He has power over all things.
