(1012) And the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) differed not until after there came to them clear evidence (i.e. Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم and whatever was revealed to him).

(1013) Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islam, the Qur'an and Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikun will abide in the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures.

(1014) Verily, those who believe [in the Oneness of Allah, and in His Messenger Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) including all obligations ordered by Islam] and do righteous good deeds, they are the best of creatures.

(1015) And that which is in the breasts (of men) is made known?

(1016) Have you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) not seen how your Lord dealt with the owners of the Elephant? [The Elephant army which came from Yemen under the command of Abrahah Al-Ashram intending to destroy the Ka'bah at Makkah].

(1017) And He made them like (an empty field of) stalks (of which the corn has been eaten up by cattle).

(1018) (He) Who has fed them against hunger, and has made them safe from fear.

(1019) Verily, We have granted you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) Al-Kauthar (a river in Paradise).

(1020) For he who hates you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), he will be cut off (from posterity and every good thing in this world and in the Hereafter).
