(12) And they who give associates (to Allah) say: If Allah had pleased, we would not have served anything besides Allah, (neither) we nor our fathers, nor would we have prohibited anything without (order from) Him. Thus did those before them; is then aught incumbent upon the apostles except a plain delivery (of the message)?

(13) And for those who were Jews We prohibited what We have related to you already, and We did them no injustice, but they were unjust to themselves.

(14) And the throes (of childbirth) compelled her to betake herself to the trunk of a palm tree. She said: oh, would that I had died before this, and had been a thing quite forgotten!

(15) On the day when they shall see the angels, there shall be no joy on that day for the guilty, and they shall say: It is a forbidden thing totally prohibited.
