So We brought you back to your mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve and you killed a man, then We delivered you from the grief, and We tried you with (a severe) trying. Then you stayed for years among the people of Madyan; then you came hither as ordained, O Musa.

(173) (Musa) said: Your appointment is the day of the Festival and let the people be gathered together in the early forenoon.

(174) O children of Israel! indeed We delivered you from your enemy, and We made a covenant with you on the blessed side of the mountain, and We sent to you the manna and the quails.

(175) Then We made Our promise good to them, so We delivered them and those whom We pleased, and We destroyed the extravagant.

(176) And they say: The Beneficent Allah has taken to Himself a son. Glory be to Him. Nay! they are honored servants

(177) And they desired a war on him, but We made them the greatest losers.

(178) And We delivered him as well as Lut (removing them) to the land which We had blessed for all people.

(179) And (as for) Lut, We gave him wisdom and knowledge, and We delivered him from the town which wrought abominations; surely they were an evil people, transgressors;

(180) And Nuh, when he cried aforetime, so We answered him, and delivered him and his followers from the great calamity.
