(651) And as for the wall, it belonged to two orphan boys in the city, and there was beneath it a treasure belonging to them, and their father was a righteous man; so your Lord desired that they should attain their maturity and take out their treasure, a mercy from your Lord, and I did not do it of my own accord. This is the significance of that with which you could not have patience.

(652) so he followed a course.

(653) Even so! and We had a full knowledge of what he had.

(654) so they were not able to scale it nor could they make a hole in it.

(655) And on that day We will leave a part of them in conflict with another part, and the trumpet will be blown, so We will gather them all together;

(656) These are they who disbelieve in the communications of their Lord and His meeting, so their deeds become null, and therefore We will not set up a balance for them on the day of resurrection.

(657) He said: O my Lord! when shall I have a son, and my wife is barren, and I myself have reached indeed the extreme degree of old age?

(658) He said: so shall it be, your Lord says: It is easy to Me, and indeed I created you before, when you were nothing.

(659) He said: My Lord! give me a sign. He said: Your sign is that you will not be able to speak to the people three nights while in sound health.

(660) so he went forth to his people from his place of worship, then he made known to them that they should glorify (Allah) morning and evening.
