(711) Then his Lord chose him, so He turned to him and guided (him).

(712) He said: Get forth you two therefrom, all (of you), one of you (is) enemy to another. so there will surely come to you guidance from Me, then whoever follows My guidance, he shall not go astray nor be unhappy;

(713) He will say: Even so, Our communications came to you but you neglected them; even thus shall you be forsaken this day.

(714) Bear then patiently what they say, and glorify your Lord by the praising of Him before the rising of the sun and before its setting, and during hours of the night do also glorify (Him) and during parts of the day, that you may be well pleased

(715) Say: Every one (of us) is awaiting, therefore do await: so you will come to know who is the follower of the even path and who goes aright.

(716) Nay! say they: Medleys of dreams; nay! he has forged it; nay! he is a poet; so let him bring to us a sign as the former (prophets) were sent (with).

(717) And We did not send before you any but men to whom We sent revelation, so ask the followers of the reminder if you do not

(718) Then We made Our promise good to them, so We delivered them and those whom We pleased, and We destroyed the extravagant.

(719) so when they felt Our punishment, lo! they began to fly

(720) Nay! We cast the truth against the falsehood, so that it breaks its head, and lo! it vanishes; and woe to you for what you describe;
