(34) Say (unto them): If ye possessed the treasures of the mercy of my Lord, ye would surely hold them back for fear of spending, for man was ever grudging.

(35) Whose hearts fear when Allah is mentioned, and the patient of whatever may befall them, and those who establish worship and who spend of that We have bestowed on them.

(36) And who spend the night before their Lord, prostrate and standing,

(37) And those who, when they spend, are neither prodigal nor grudging; and there is ever a firm station between the two;

(38) These will be given their reward twice over, because they are steadfast and repel evil with good, and spend of that wherewith We have provided them,

(39) Who forsake their beds to cry unto their Lord in fear and hope, and spend of that We have bestowed on them.

(40) Say: Lo! my Lord enlargeth the provision for whom He will of His bondmen, and narroweth (it) for him. And whatsoever ye spend (for good) He replaceth it. And He is the Best of Providers.
