Or the depths of darkness equal with light?" Or do they assign to Allah partners who have created (anything) as He has created, so that the creation seemed to them similar? (62) Leave them alone, to enjoy (the good things of this life) and to please themselves: let (false) hope amuse them: soon will knowledge (undeceive them).

(63) So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together:

(64) Not so Iblis: he refused to be among those who prostrated themselves.

(65) (Allah) said: "O Iblis! what is your reason for not being among those who prostrated themselves?"

(66) "For over My servants no authority shalt thou have, except such as put themselves in the wrong and follow thee."

(67) Out of the mountains did they hew (their) edifices, (feeling themselves) secure.

(68) But celebrate the praises of thy Lord, and be of those who prostrate themselves in adoration.

(69) And marks and sign-posts; and by the stars (men) guide themselves.

(70) Those whom they invoke besides Allah create nothing and are themselves created.
