(21) And when We wish to destroy a town, We send Our commandment to the people of it who lead easy lives, but they transgress therein; thus the word proves true against it, so We destroy it with utter destruction.

(22) Whoever desires this present life, We hasten to him therein what We please for whomsoever We desire, then We assign to him the hell; he shall enter it despised, driven away.

(23) These it is for whom are gardens of perpetuity beneath which rivers flow, ornaments shall be given to them therein of bracelets of gold, and they shall wear green robes of fine silk and thick silk brocade interwoven with gold, reclining therein on raised couches; excellent the recompense and goodly the resting place.

(24) Abiding therein; they shall not desire removal from them.

(25) They shall not hear therein any vain discourse, but only: Peace, and they shall have their sustenance therein morning and evening.

(26) Again We do certainly know best those who deserve most to be burned therein.

(27) And We will deliver those who guarded (against evil), and We will leave the unjust therein on their knees.

(28) Who made the earth for you an expanse and made for you therein paths and sent down water from the cloud; then thereby We have brought forth many species of various herbs.

(29) Whoever comes to his Lord (being) guilty, for him is surely hell; he shall not die therein, nor shall he live.

(30) The gardens of perpetuity, beneath which rivers flow, to abide therein; and this is the reward of him who has purified himself.
