(481) And warn people of the day when the chastisement shall come to them, then those who were unjust will say: O our Lord! respite us to a near term, (so) we shall respond to Thy call and follow the apostles. What! did you not swear before (that) there will be no passing away for you!

(482) And you dwell in the abodes of those who were unjust to themselves, and it is clear to you how We dealt with them and We have made (them) examples to you.

(483) This is a sufficient exposition for the people and that they may be warned thereby, and that they may know that He is One Allah and that those possessed of understanding may mind.

(484) Often will those who disbelieve wish that they had been Muslims.

(485) And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later.

(486) But Iblis (did it not); he refused to be with those who made obeisance.

(487) He said: O Iblis! what excuse have you that you are not with those who make obeisance?

(488) Surely. as regards My servants, you have no authority, over them except those who follow you of the deviators.

(489) Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in the midst of gardens and fountains:

(490) Except his wife; We ordained that she shall surely be of those who remain behind.
