Is he who is cast into the Fire better or he who comes secure on the Day of Resurrection? Do what you will. Verily He is All-Seer of what you do (this is a severe threat to the disbelievers ).

(37) "Who set up another ilah (god) with Allah. Then both of you cast him in the severe torment."

(38) He it is Who drove out the disbelievers among the people of the Scripture (i.e. the Jews of the tribe of Banu An-Nadir) from their homes at the first gathering. You did not think that they would get out. And they thought that their fortresses would defend them from Allah! But Allah's (Torment) reached them from a place whereof they expected it not, and He cast terror into their hearts so that they destroyed their own dwellings with their own hands and the hands of the believers. Then take admonition, O you with eyes (to see).

(39) When they are cast therein, they will hear the (terrible) drawing in of its breath as it blazes forth.

(40) It almost bursts up with fury. Every time a group is cast therein, its keeper will ask: "Did no warner come to you?"
