(63) Say: O you who are Jews, if you think that you are the favorites of Allah to the exclusion of other people, then invoke death If you are truthful.

(64) Say: (As for) the death from which you flee, that will surely overtake you, then you shall be sent back to the Knower of the unseen and the seen, and He will inform you of that which you did.

(65) And spend out of what We have given you before death comes to one of you, so that he should say: My Lord! why didst Thou not respite me to a near term, so that I should have given alms and been of the doers of good deeds?

(66) Who created death and life that He may try you-- which of you is best in deeds; and He is the Mighty, the Forgiving,

(67) He it is Who made the earth smooth for you, therefore go about in the spacious sides thereof, and eat of His sustenance, and to Him is the return after death.

(68) And that when the servant of Allah stood up calling upon Him, they wellnigh crowded him (to death).

(69) Till death overtook us.
