(176) Never did Allah take to Himself a son, and never was there with him any (other) god-- in that case would each god have certainly taken away what he created, and some of them would certainly have overpowered others; glory be to Allah above what they describe!

(177) He will say: How many years did you tarry in the earth?

(178) He will say: You did tarry but a little-- had you but known (it):

(179) What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us?

(180) Why did not the believing men and the believing women, when you heard it, think well of their own people, and say: This is an evident falsehood?
