(11) O Children of Adam! Take your adornment (by wearing your clean clothes), while praying and going round (the Tawaf of) the ka'bah, and eat and drink but waste not by extravagance, certainly He (Allah) likes not Al-Musrifun (those who waste by extravagance).

(12) Their Salat (prayer) at the House (of Allah, i.e. the ka'bah at Makkah) was nothing but whistling and clapping of hands. Therefore taste the punishment because you used to disbelieve.

(13) "O our Lord! I have made some of my offspring to dwell in an uncultivable valley by Your Sacred House (the ka'bah at Makkah) in order, O our Lord, that they may perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat). So fill some hearts among men with love towards them, and (O Allah) provide them with fruits so that they may give thanks.

(14) And (remember) when We showed Ibrahim (Abraham) the site of the (Sacred) House (the ka'bah at Makkah) (saying): "Associate not anything (in worship) with Me, [La ilaha illallah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) - Islamic Monotheism], and sanctify My House for those who circumambulate it, and those who stand up (for prayer), and those who bow (submit themselves with humility and obedience to Allah), and make prostration (in prayer);"

(15) Then let them complete their prescribed duties (Manasik of Hajj) and perform their vows, and circumambulate the Ancient House (the ka'bah at Makkah).

(16) And by Al-Bait-ul-Ma'mur (the house over the heavens parallel to the ka'bah at Makkah, continuously visited by the angels).

(17) Have you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) not seen how your Lord dealt with the owners of the Elephant? [The Elephant army which came from Yemen under the command of Abrahah Al-Ashram intending to destroy the ka'bah at Makkah].

(18) So let them worship (Allah) the Lord of this House (the ka'bah in Makkah),
