(23) Allah is He Who raised the heavens without any pillars that ye can see; is firmly established on the throne (of authority); He has subjected the sun and the moon (to his Law)! Each one runs (its course) for a term appointed. He doth regulate all affairs, explaining the signs in detail, that ye may believe with certainty in the meeting with your Lord.

(24) And We gave (Clear) Warning to the Children of Israel in the Book, that twice would they do mischief on the earth and be elated with mighty arrogance (and twice would they be punished)!

(25) We relate to thee their story in truth: they were youths who believed in their Lord, and We advanced them in guidance:

(26) Relate in the Book (the story of) Mary, when she withdrew from her family to a place in the East.

(27) Thus do We relate to thee some stories of what happened before: for We have sent thee a Message from Our own Presence.

(28) But (later generations) cut off their affair (of unity), one from another: (yet) will they all return to Us.

(29) "Then let them complete the rites prescribed for them, perform their vows, and (again) circumambulate the Ancient House."

(30) O ye who believe! let those whom your right hands possess, and the (children) among you who have not come of age ask your permission (before they come to your presence), on three occasions: before morning prayer; the while ye doff your clothes for the noonday heat; and after the late-night prayer: these are your three times of undress: outside those times it is not wrong for you or for them to move about attending to each other: Thus does Allah make clear the Signs to you: for Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom.
