(248) And if they reject thee, so did their predecessors, to whom came their messengers with Clear Signs, Books of dark prophecies, and the Book of Enlightenment.

(249) Thou art indeed one of the messengers,

(250) Set forth to them, by way of a parable, the (story of) the Companions of the City. Behold!, there came messengers to it.
