(741) Never did Allah take to Himself a son, and never was there with him any (other) god-- in that case would each god have certainly taken away what he created, and some of them would certainly have overpowered others; glory be to Allah above what they describe!

(742) And say: O my Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Shaitans;

(743) Until when death overtakes one of them, he says: Send me back, my Lord, send me back;

(744) O our Lord! take us out of it; then if we return (to evil) surely we shall be unjust.

(745) He will say: How many years did you tarry in the earth?

(746) They will say: We tarried a day or part of a day, but ask those who keep account.

(747) He will say: You did tarry but a little-- had you but known (it):

(748) (As for) the fornicatress and the fornicator, flog each of them, (giving) a hundred stripes, and let not pity for them detain you in the matter of obedience to Allah, if you believe in Allah and the last day, and let a party of believers witness their chastisement.

(749) And (as for) those who accuse their wives and have no witnesses except themselves, the evidence of one of these (should be taken) four times, bearing Allah to witness that he is most surely of the truthful ones.

(750) And were it not for Allah's grace upon you and His mercy in this world and the hereafter, a grievous chastisement would certainly have touched you on account of the discourse which you entered into.
