(175) They swore their strongest oaths by Allah that if a warner came to them, they would follow his guidance better than any (other) of the Peoples: But when a warner came to them, it has only increased their flight (from righteousness),-

(176) It was no more than a single mighty Blast, and behold! they were (like ashes) quenched and silent.

(177) That they may enjoy the fruits of this (artistry): It was not their hands that made this: will they not then give thanks?

(178) It will be no more than a single Blast, when lo! they will all be brought up before Us!

(179) We have not instructed the (Prophet) in Poetry, nor is it meet for him: this is no less than a Message and a Qur'an making things clear:

(180) Yet they take (for worship) gods other than Allah, (hoping) that they might be helped!
