(151) Allah confirms those who believe with the sure word in this world's life and in the hereafter, and Allah causes the unjust to go astray, and Allah does what He pleases.

(152) O our Lord! surely I have settled a part of my offspring in a valley unproductive of fruit near Thy Sacred House, our Lord! that they may keep up prayer; therefore make the hearts of some people yearn towards them and provide them with fruits; haply they may be grateful:

(153) And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing.

(154) And most surely We bring to life and cause to die and We are the heirs.

(155) But Iblis (did it not); he refused to be with those who made obeisance.

(156) He said: O Iblis! what excuse have you that you are not with those who make obeisance?

(157) He said: My Lord! because Thou hast made life evil to me, I will certainly make (evil) fair-seeming to them on earth, and I will certainly cause them all to deviate

(158) And they hewed houses in the mountains in security.

(159) He causes to grow for you thereby herbage, and the olives, and the palm trees, and the grapes, and of all the fruits; most surely there is a sign in this for a people who reflect.

(160) Those whom the angels cause to die while they are unjust to themselves. Then would they offer submission: We used not to do any evil. Aye! surely Allah knows what you did.
