(52) So she took a veil (to screen herself) from them; then We sent to her Our spirit, and there appeared to her a well-made man.
(53) And he enjoined on his family prayer and almsgiving, and was one in whom his Lord was well pleased.
(54) Does it not then direct them aright how many of the generations In whose dwelling-places they go about We destroyed before them? Most surely there are signs in this for those endowed with understanding.
(55) Bear then patiently what they say, and glorify your Lord by the praising of Him before the rising of the sun and before its setting, and during hours of the night do also glorify (Him) and during parts of the day, that you may be well pleased
(56) Do not fly (now) and come back to what you were made to lead easy lives in and to your dwellings, haply you will be questioned.
(57) And certainly We gave to Ibrahim his rectitude before, and We knew him fully well.
(58) And We delivered him as well as Lut (removing them) to the land which We had blessed for all people.
(59) O people! if you are in doubt about the raising, then surely We created you from dust, then from a small seed, then from a clot, then from a lump of flesh, complete in make and incomplete, that We may make clear to you; and We cause what We please to stay in the wombs till an appointed time, then We bring you forth as babies, then that you may attain your maturity; and of you is he who is caused to die, and of you is he who is brought back to the worst part of life, so that after having knowledge he does not know anything; and you see the earth sterile land, but when We send down on it the water, it stirs and swells and brings forth of every kind a beautiful herbage.
(60) And among men is he who serves Allah (standing) on the verge, so that if good befalls him he is satisfied therewith, but if a trial afflict him he turns back headlong; he loses this world as well as the hereafter; that is a manifest loss.
