(121) Now the 'Ad behaved arrogantly through the land, against (all) truth and reason, and said: "Who is superior to us in strength?" What! did they not see that Allah, Who created them, was superior to them in strength? But they continued to reject Our Signs!

(122) They will say to their skins: "Why bear ye witness against us?" They will say: "Allah hath given us speech,- (He) Who giveth speech to everything: He created you for the first time, and unto Him were ye to return.

(123) Among His Signs are the Night and the Day, and the Sun and the Moon. Do not prostrate to the sun and the moon, but prostrate to Allah, Who created them, if it is Him ye wish to serve.

(124) To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. He creates what He wills (and plans). He bestows (children) male or female according to His Will (and Plan),

(125) If thou wert to question them, 'Who created the heavens and the earth?' They would be sure to reply, 'they were created by (Him), the Exalted in Power, Full of Knowledge';-

(126) That has created pairs in all things, and has made for you ships and cattle on which ye ride,

(127) What! has He taken daughters out of what He himself creates, and granted to you sons for choice?

(128) If thou ask them, who created them, they will certainly say, Allah: How then are they deluded away (from the Truth)?

(129) We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, merely in (idle) sport:

(130) We created them not except for just ends: but most of them do not understand.
