(61) Those who believe say, "Why is not a sura sent down (for us)?" But when a sura of basic or categorical meaning is revealed, and fighting is mentioned therein, thou wilt see those in whose hearts is a disease looking at thee with a look of one in swoon at the approach of death. But more fitting for them-

(62) But how (will it be) when the angels take their souls at death, and smite their faces and their backs?

(63) And the stupor of death will bring Truth (before his eyes): "This was the thing which thou wast trying to escape!"

(64) Verily it is We Who give Life and death; and to Us is the Final Goal-

(65) That it is He Who granteth death and Life;

(66) We have decreed death to be your common lot, and We are not to be frustrated

(67) To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth: It is He Who gives Life and death; and He has Power over all things.

(68) Know ye (all) that Allah giveth life to the earth after its death! already have We shown the Signs plainly to you, that ye may learn wisdom.

(69) Say: "O ye that stand on Judaism! If ye think that ye are friends to Allah, to the exclusion of (other) men, then express your desire for death, if ye are truthful!"

(70) But never will they express their desire (for death), because of the (deeds) their hands have sent on before them! and Allah knows well those that do wrong!
