(11) And when Our decree came to pass We delivered Shu'aib, and those who believed with him by mercy from Us, and the rumbling overtook those who were unjust so they became motionless bodies in their abodes,

(12) And they swear by Allah with the most energetic of their oaths: Allah will not raise up him who dies. Yea! it is a promise binding on Him, quite true, but most people do not know;

(13) He has only forbidden you what dies of itself and blood and flesh of swine and that over which any other name than that of Allah has been invoked, but whoever is driven to necessity, not desiring nor exceeding the limit, then surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

(14) And peace on him on the day he was born, and on the day he dies, and on the day he is raised to life

(15) And We did not make them bodies not eating the food, and they were not to abide (forever).

(16) And rely on the Ever-living Who dies not, and celebrate His praise; and Sufficient is He as being aware of the faults of His servants,

(17) But they rejected him, so a severe earthquake overtook them, and they became motionless bodies in their abode.

(18) On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works.
