(32) Is he whom We have promised an excellent promise (Paradise) - which he will find true - like him whom We have made to enjoy the luxuries of the life of (this) world, then on the Day of Resurrection, he will be among those brought up (to be punished in the Hell-fire)?

(33) "But seek, with that (wealth) which Allah has bestowed on you, the home of the Hereafter, and forget not your portion of lawful enjoyment in this world; and do good as Allah has been good to you, and seek not mischief in the land. Verily, Allah likes not the Mufsidun (those who commit great crimes and sins, oppressors, tyrants, mischief-makers, corrupters)."

(34) So that they become ingrate for that which We have given them, and that they take their enjoyment (as a warning and a threat), but they will come to know.

(35) Then as for those who believed (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism) and did righteous good deeds, such shall be honoured and made to enjoy luxurious life (forever) in a Garden of Delight (Paradise).

(36) So as to be ungrateful for the graces which We have bestowed on them. Then enjoy (your short life); but you will come to know.

(37) We let them enjoy for a little while, then in the end We shall oblige them to (enter) a great torment.

(38) Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم to these hypocrites who ask your permission to run away from you): "Flight will not avail you if you flee from death or killing and then you will enjoy no more than a little while!"

(39) Unless it be a mercy from Us, and as an enjoyment for a while.

(40) And they believed; so We gave them enjoyment for a while.
