(13) Saying: Glory to our Lord! Verily the promise of our Lord must be fulfilled.

(14) And thou wouldst have deemed them waking though they were asleep, and We caused them to turn over to the right and the left, and their dog stretching out his paws on the threshold. If thou hadst observed them closely thou hadst assuredly turned away from them in flight, and hadst been filled with awe of them.

(15) Then we fulfilled the promise unto them. So we delivered them and whom We would, and We destroyed the prodigals.

(16) And they say: When will this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful?

(17) Therein abiding, they have all that they desire. It is for thy Lord a promise that must be fulfilled.

(18) And they say: When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful?

(19) And when the word is fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth to speak unto them because mankind had not faith in Our revelations.

(20) And the Word will be fulfilled concerning them because they have done wrong, and they will not speak.
