(224) He it is That has made you inheritors in the earth: if, then, any do reject (Allah), their rejection (works) against themselves: their rejection but adds to the odium for the Unbelievers in the sight of their Lord: their rejection but adds to (their own) undoing.

(225) The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe.

(226) And We sent not down against his People, after him, any hosts from heaven, nor was it needful for Us so to do.

(227) That it may give admonition to any (who are) alive, and that the charge may be proved against those who reject (Truth).

(228) (For beauty) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits,

(229) "What! when we die, and become dust and bones, shall we (then) be raised up (again)

(230) "So now has been proved true, against us, the word of our Lord that we shall indeed (have to) taste (the punishment of our sins).
