(37) And verily We make them taste the lower punishment before the greater, that haply they may return.

(38) And the two seas are not alike: this, fresh, sweet, good to drink, this (other) bitter, salt. And from them both ye eat fresh meat and derive the ornament that ye wear. And thou seest the ship cleaving them with its prow that ye may seek of His bounty, and that haply ye may give thanks.

(39) When it is said unto them: Beware of that which is before you and that which is behind you, that haply ye may find mercy (they are heedless).

(40) And verily We have coined for mankind in this Qur'an all kinds of similitudes, that haply they may reflect;
