(32) And Allah has brought you forth from the wombs of your mothers-- you did not know anything-- and He gave you hearing and sight and hearts that you may give thanks.

(33) These are they on whose hearts and their hearing and their eyes Allah has set a seal, and these are the heedless ones.

(34) Glory be to Him Who made His servant to go on a night from the Sacred Mosque to the remote mosque of which We have blessed the precincts, so that We may show to him some of Our signs; surely He is the hearing, the Seeing.

(35) And follow not that of which you have not the knowledge; surely the hearing and the sight and the heart, all of these, shall be questioned about that.

(36) So We prevented them from hearing in the cave for a number of years.

(37) Say: Allah knows best how long they remained; to Him are (known) the unseen things of the heavens and the earth; how clear His sight and how clear His hearing! There is none to be a guardian for them besides Him, and He does not make any one His associate in His Judgment.

(38) He said: My Lord knows what is spoken in the heaven and the earth, and He is the hearing, the Knowing.

(39) That is because Allah causes the night to enter into the day and causes the day to enter into the night, and because Allah is hearing, Seeing.

(40) Allah chooses apostles from among the angels and from among the men; surely Allah is hearing, Seeing.
