(66) Whoso is wont to think (through envy) that Allah will not give him (Muhammad) victory in the world and the hereafter (and is enraged at the thought of his victory), let him stretch a rope up to the roof (of his dwelling), and let him hang himself. Then let him see whether his strategy dispelleth that whereat he rageth!.

(67) And the chieftains of his folk, who disbelieved and denied the meeting of the hereafter, and whom We had made soft in the life of the world, said: This is only a mortal like you, who eateth of that whereof ye eat and drinketh of that ye drink.

(68) And lo! those who believe not in the hereafter are indeed astray from the path.

(69) Had it not been for the grace of Allah and His mercy unto you in the world and the hereafter an awful doom had overtaken you for that whereof ye murmured.

(70) Lo! those who love that slander should be spread concerning those who believe, theirs will be a painful punishment in the world and the hereafter. Allah knoweth. Ye know not.
