(85) He merges the night into the day (i.e. the decrease in the hours of the night is added to the hours of the day), and He merges the day into the night (i.e. the decrease in the hours of the day is added to the hours of the night). And He has subjected the sun and the moon: each runs its course for a term appointed. Such is Allah, your Lord; His is the kingdom. And those, whom you invoke or call upon instead of Him, own not even a Qitmir (the thin membrane over the date-stone).

(86) And if it had been Our Will, We could have transformed them (into animals or lifeless objects) in their places. Then they would have been unable to go forward (move about) nor they could have turned back.

(87) Neither will they have Ghoul (any kind of hurt, abdominal pain, headache, a sin) from that, nor will they suffer intoxication therefrom.

(88) They said: "Build for him a building (it is said that the building was like a furnace) and throw him into the blazing fire!"

(89) "Has he made the alihah (gods) (all) into One Ilah (God - Allah). Verily, this is a curious thing!"

(90) And has the news of the litigants reached you? When they climbed over the wall into (his) Mihrab (a praying place or a private room);
