(161) He causes the night to enter in upon the day, and He causes the day to enter in upon the night, and He has made subservient (to you) the sun and the moon; each one follows its course to an appointed time; this is Allah, your Lord, His is the kingdom; and those whom you call upon besides Him do not control a straw.

(162) And a burdened soul cannot bear the burden of another and if one weighed down by burden should cry for (another to carry) its burden, not aught of it shall be carried, even though he be near of kin. You warn only those who fear their Lord in secret and keep up prayer; and whoever purifies himself, he purifies himself only for (the good of) his own soul; and to Allah is the eventual coming.

(163) Glory be to Him Who created pairs of all things, of what the earth grows, and of their kind and of what they do not know.

(164) He Who has made for you the fire (to burn) from the green tree, so that with it you kindle (fire).

(165) Therefore glory be to Him in Whose hand is the kingdom of all things, and to Him you shall be brought back.

(166) Then he looked at the stars, looking up once,

(167) And when he attained to working with him, he said: O my son! surely I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice you; consider then what you see. He said: O my father! do what you are commanded; if Allah please, you will find me of the patient ones.

(168) Or is it that theirs is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and what is between them? Then let them ascend by any

(169) And We strengthened his kingdom and We gave him wisdom and a clear judgment.

(170) He said: My Lord! do Thou forgive me and grant me a kingdom which is not fit for (being inherited by) anyone after me;
