(43) Each one of them We seized for his crime: of them, against some We sent a violent tornado (with showers of stones); some were caught by a (mighty) Blast; some We caused the earth to swallow up; and some We drowned (in the waters): It was not Allah Who injured (or oppressed) them:" They injured (and oppressed) their own souls.

(44) "Who has, out of His Bounty, settled us in a Home that will last: no toil nor sense of weariness shall touch us therein."

(45) It was no more than a single mighty Blast, and behold! they were (like ashes) quenched and silent.

(46) They will not (have to) wait for aught but a single Blast: it will seize them while they are yet disputing among themselves!

(47) It will be no more than a single Blast, when lo! they will all be brought up before Us!

(48) These (today) only wait for a single mighty Blast, which (when it comes) will brook no delay.

(49) "O my people! This life of the present is nothing but (temporary) convenience: It is the Hereafter that is the Home that will last.

(50) Whatever ye are given (here) is (but) a convenience of this life: but that which is with Allah is better and more lasting: (it is) for those who believe and put their trust in their Lord:
