(491) And all we relate to you of the accounts of the apostles is to strengthen your heart therewith; and in this has come to you the truth and an admonition, and a reminder to the believers.

(492) And say to those who do not believe: Act according to your state; surely we too are acting.

(493) They said: O our father! surely we went off racing and left Yusuf by our goods, so the wolf devoured him, and you will not believe us though we are truthful.

(494) And if his shirt is rent from behind, she tells a lie and he is one of the truthful.

(495) He said: There shall not come to you the food with which you are fed, but I will inform you both of its interpretation before it comes to you; this is of what my Lord has taught me; surely I have forsaken the religion of a people who do not believe in Allah, and they are deniers of the hereafter:

(496) And certainly the reward of the hereafter is much better for those who believe and guard (against evil).

(497) O my sons! Go and inquire respecting Yusuf and his brother, and despair not of Allah's mercy; surely none despairs of Allah's mercy except the unbelieving people.

(498) Take this my shirt and cast it on my father's face, he will (again) be able to see, and come to me with all your families.

(499) And most men will not believe though you desire it eagerly.

(500) And most of them do not believe in Allah without associating others (with Him).
