(1181) Allah citeth an example for those who disbelieve: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot, who were under two of our righteous slaves yet betrayed them so that they (the husbands) availed them naught against Allah and it was said (unto them): Enter the Fire along with those who enter.

(1182) And Mary, daughter of 'Imran, whose body was chaste, therefor We breathed therein something of our Spirit. And she put faith in the words of her Lord and His scriptures, and was of the obedient.

(1183) And for those who disbelieve in their Lord there is the doom of hell, a hapless journey's end!

(1184) And keep your opinion secret or proclaim it, lo! He is Knower of all that is in the breasts (of men).

(1185) Say: He is the Beneficent. In Him we believe and in Him we put our trust. And ye will soon know who it is that is in error manifest.

(1186) Say: Have ye thought: If (all) your water were to disappear into the earth, who then could bring you gushing water?

(1187) Thou art not, for thy Lord's favour unto thee, a madman.

(1188) That, when our revelations are recited unto him, he saith: Mere fables of the men of old.

(1189) Saying: Run unto your field if ye would pluck (the fruit).

(1190) They said: Glorified be our Lord! Lo! we have been wrong-doers.
