(211) And he (Iblis - Satan) had no authority over them, - except that We might test him who believes in the Hereafter from him who is in doubt about it. And your Lord is a Hafiz (Watchful) over everything. (All-Knower of everything i.e. He keeps record of every person as regards deeds, and then He will reward them accordingly).

(212) Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Whatever wage I might have asked of you is yours. My wage is from Allah only, and He is a Witness over all things."

(213) He merges the night into the day (i.e. the decrease in the hours of the night is added to the hours of the day), and He merges the day into the night (i.e. the decrease in the hours of the day is added to the hours of the night). And He has subjected the sun and the moon: each runs its course for a term appointed. Such is Allah, your Lord; His is the kingdom. And those, whom you invoke or call upon instead of Him, own not even a Qitmir (the thin membrane over the date-stone).

(214) And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see.

(215) It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day. They all float, each in an orbit.

(216) "And we had no authority over you. Nay! But you were Taghun (transgressing) people (polytheists, and disbelievers).

(217) And We caused a plant of gourd to grow over him.

(218) And has the news of the litigants reached you? When they climbed over the wall into (his) Mihrab (a praying place or a private room);

(219) Verily, this my brother (in religion) has ninety-nine ewes, while I have (only) one ewe, and he says: "Hand it over to me, and he overpowered me in speech."

(220) (This is) a Book (the Qur'an) which We have sent down to you, full of blessings, that they may ponder over its Verses, and that men of understanding may remember.
