(252) What Allah out of his Mercy doth bestow on mankind there is none can withhold: what He doth withhold, there is none can grant, apart from Him: and He is the Exalted in Power, full of Wisdom.

(253) And Allah did create you from dust; then from a sperm-drop; then He made you in pairs. And no female conceives, or lays down (her load), but with His knowledge. Nor is a man long-lived granted length of days, nor is a part cut off from his life, but is in a Decree (ordained). All this is easy to Allah.

(254) They said: "Your evil omens are with yourselves: (deem ye this an evil omen). If ye are admonished? Nay, but ye are a people transgressing all bounds!"

(255) "For that my Lord has granted me Forgiveness and has enrolled me among those held in honour!"

(256) And if it had been Our Will, We could have transformed them (to remain) in their places; then should they have been unable to move about, nor could they have returned (after error).

(257) If We grant long life to any, We cause him to be reversed in nature: Will they not then understand?

(258) By those who range themselves in ranks,

(259) "O my Lord! Grant me a righteous (son)!"

(260) And We ransomed him with a momentous sacrifice:
