(122) Then We caused Our messengers to follow in their footsteps; and We caused Jesus, son of Mary, to follow, and gave him the Gospel, and placed compassion and mercy in the hearts of those who followed him. But monasticism they invented - We ordained it not for them - only seeking Allah's pleasure, and they observed it not with right observance. So We give those of them who believe their reward, but many of them are evil-livers.

(123) And the consequence for both will be that they are in the Fire, therein abiding. Such is the reward of evil-doers.

(124) Your wealth and your children are only a temptation, whereas Allah! with Him is an immense reward.

(125) That is the commandment of Allah which He revealeth unto you. And whoso keepeth his duty to Allah, He will remit from him his evil deeds and magnify reward for him.

(126) Lo! those who fear their Lord in secret, theirs will be forgiveness and a great reward.

(127) And lo! thine verily will be a reward unfailing.

(128) (Saying): We feed you, for the sake of Allah only. We wish for no reward nor thanks from you;

(129) (And it will be said unto them): Lo! this is a reward for you. Your endeavour (upon earth) hath found acceptance.

(130) Thus do We reward the good.
