(821) O ye who believe! Turn unto Allah in sincere repentance! It may be that your Lord will remit from you your evil deeds and bring you into Gardens underneath which rivers flow, on the day when Allah will not abase the Prophet and those who believe with him. Their light will run before them and on their right hands; they will say: Our Lord! Perfect our light for us, and forgive us! Lo! Thou art Able to do all things.

(822) And Allah citeth an example for those who believe: the wife of Pharaoh when she said: My Lord! Build for me a home with thee in the Garden, and deliver me from Pharaoh and his work, and deliver me from evil-doing folk;

(823) when they are flung therein they hear its roaring as it boileth up,

(824) As it would burst with rage. whenever a (fresh) host is flung therein the wardens thereof ask them: Came there unto you no warner?

(825) Have ye taken security from Him Who is in the heaven that He will not cause the earth to swallow you when lo! it is convulsed?

(826) And they say: when (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful?

(827) But when they see it nigh, the faces of those who disbelieve will be awry, and it will be said (unto them): This is that for which ye used to call.

(828) That, when Our revelations are recited unto him, he saith: Mere fables of the men of old.

(829) Lo! We have tried them as We tried the owners of the garden when they vowed that they would pluck its fruit next morning,

(830) But when they saw it, they said: Lo! we are in error!
