(6) He said: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, but such as go astray?"

(7) Yet when We bestow Our favours on man, he turns away and becomes remote on his side (instead of coming to Us), and when evil seizes him he gives himself up to despair!

(8) Until We open on them a gate leading to a severe Punishment: then Lo! they will be plunged in despair therein!

(9) Those who reject the Signs of Allah and the Meeting with Him (in the Hereafter),- it is they who shall despair of My Mercy: it is they who will (suffer) a most grievous Penalty.

(10) On the Day that the Hour will be established, the guilty will be struck dumb with despair.
