(41) Do you not see that Allah drives along the clouds, then gathers them together, then piles them up, so that you see the rain coming forth from their midst? And He sends down of the clouds that are (like) mountains wherein is hail, afflicting therewith whom He pleases and turning it away from whom He pleases; the flash of His lightning almost takes away the sight.

(42) The kingdom on that day shall rightly belong to the Beneficent Allah, and a hard day shall it be for the unbelievers.

(43) And he tarried not long, then said: I comprehend that which you do not comprehend and I have brought to you a sure information from Sheba.

(44) But We raised up generations, then life became prolonged to them; and you were not dwelling among the people of Madyan, reciting to them Our communications, but We were the senders.

(45) And to Him belongs praise in the heavens and the earth, and at nightfall and when you are at midday.

(46) To abide therein for a long time; they shall not find a protector or a helper.

(47) And they said: O our Lord! make spaces to be longer between our journeys; and they were unjust to themselves so We made them stories and scattered them with an utter scattering; most surely there are signs in this for every patient, grateful one

(48) Whoever desires honor, then to Allah belongs the honor wholly. To Him do ascend the good words; and the good deeds, lift them up, and (as for) those who plan evil deeds, they shall have a severe chastisement; and (as for) their plan, it shall perish.

(49) And they shall cry therein for succour: O our Lord! take us out, we will do good deeds other than those which we used to do. Did We not preserve you alive long enough, so that he who would be mindful in it should mind? And there came to you the warner; therefore taste; because for the unjust, there is no helper.

(50) And whomsoever We cause to live long, We reduce (him) to an abject state in constitution; do they not then understand?
