(63) And when he learns something of Our Signs, he takes them in jest: for such there will be a humiliating Penalty.

(64) And We shall try you until We test those among you who strive their utmost and persevere in patience; and We shall try your reported (mettle).

(65) And We caused the earth to gush forth with springs, so the waters met (and rose) to the extent decreed.

(66) When the Event inevitable cometh to pass,

(67) O ye who believe! When ye consult the Messenger in private, spend something in charity before your private consultation. That will be best for you, and most conducive to purity (of conduct). But if ye find not (the wherewithal), Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

(68) One day will Allah raise them all up (for Judgment): then will they swear to Him as they swear to you: And they think that they have something (to stand upon). No, indeed! they are but liars!

(69) and spend something (in charity) out of the substance which We have bestowed on you, before Death should come to any of you and he should say, "O my Lord! why didst Thou not give me respite for a little while? I should then have given (largely) in charity, and I should have been one of the doers of good".

(70) Verily, We have warned you of a Penalty near, the Day when man will see (the deeds) which his hands have sent forth, and the Unbeliever will say, "Woe unto me! Would that I were (metre) dust!"
