(62) Then they threw down their cords and their staves and said: By Pharaoh's might, lo! we verily are the winners.

(63) (Pharaoh) said: Ye put your faith in him before I give you leave. Lo! he doubtless is your chief who taught you magic! But verily ye shall come to know. Verily I will cut off your hands and your feet alternately, and verily I will crucify you every one.

(64) Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners,

(65) oh, that we had another turn (on earth), that we might be of the believers!

(66) And put thy hand into the bosom of thy robe, it will come forth white but unhurt. (This will be one) among nine tokens unto Pharaoh and his people Lo! they were ever evil-living folk.

(67) We narrate unto thee (somewhat) of the story of Moses and Pharaoh with truth, for folk who believe.

(68) Lo! Pharaoh exalted himself in the earth and made its people castes. A tribe among them he oppressed, killing their sons and sparing their women. Lo! he was of those who work corruption.

(69) And to establish them in the earth, and to show Pharaoh and Haman and their hosts that which they feared from them.

(70) And the family of Pharaoh took him up, that he might become for them an enemy and a sorrow, Lo! Pharaoh and Haman and their hosts were ever sinning.
