(151) But their professing the Faith when they (actually) saw Our punishment was not going to profit them. (Such has been) Allah's Way of dealing with His Servants (from the most ancient times). And even thus did the Rejecters of Allah perish (utterly)!

(152) But if they turn away, say thou: "I have warned you of a stunning punishment (as of thunder and lightning) like that which (overtook) the 'Ad and the Thamud!"

(153) As to the Thamud, We gave them Guidance, but they preferred blindness (of heart) to Guidance: so the stunning punishment of humiliation seized them, because of what they had earned.

(160) And that He may punish the Hypocrites, men and women, and the Polytheists men and women, who imagine an evil opinion of Allah. On them is a round of Evil: the Wrath of Allah is on them: He has cursed them and got Hell ready for them: and evil is it for a destination.
