(941) Lo! Allah graspeth the heavens and the earth that they deviate not, and if they were to deviate there is not one that could grasp them after Him. Lo! He is ever Clement, Forgiving.

(942) And they swore by Allah, their most binding oath, that if a warner came unto them they would be more tractable than any of the nations; yet, when a warner came unto them it aroused in them naught save repugnance,

(943) Have they not travelled in the land and seen the nature of the consequence for those who were before them, and they were mightier than these in power? Allah is not such that aught in the heavens or in the earth escapeth Him. Lo! He is the Wise, the Mighty.

(944) On a straight path,

(945) It was said (unto him): Enter paradise. He said: Would that my people knew

(946) Have they not seen how many generations We destroyed before them, which indeed returned not unto them;

(947) A token unto them is the dead earth. We revive it, and We bring forth from it grain so that they eat thereof;

(948) And We have placed therein gardens of the date-palm and grapes, and We have caused springs of water to gush forth therein,

(949) And the trumpet is blown and lo! from the graves they hie unto their Lord,

(950) Crying: Woe upon us! Who hath raised us from our place of sleep? This is that which the Beneficent did promise, and the messengers spoke truth.
